UNFORGETTABLE MELODY…

  


In the night filled with stars

I could only see the darkness…

You were beside me;

The aroma of your cologne filled the air

The silence of the night broken

Only by our breathing…



As your hands hold mine,

I could feel the warmth…

I could no longer hold in the bottled-up emotions.

I broke and cried like a baby;

You said nothing;

You silently reached out

And held me in your arms…



I don’t know how long I sobbed

Just lying my face against your chest…

The rhythm of the heartbeat

Spoke more than words could ever…



All the worries forgotten,

I just continue to stay there

Wishing the moment to never end…

Till today the sound resonates in my ears

As if the melody of a sweet song…

ಕಾಫಿಯ ಕಪ್ಪು

ಕಾಫಿಯ ಕಪ್ಪು ಖಾಲಿಯಾಗಿದೆ, ಆದರೆ ಮಾತು ಶುರುವಾಗಲೇ ಇಲ್ಲ! ಅವಳು ಅವನೆದುರು ತಂದಿಟ್ಟದ್ದು  ಹಬೆಯಾಡುವ ಬಿಸಿ ಕಾಫಿಯ ಕಪ್ಪು ಅದು ಅವನಿಗಿಷ್ಟವಾದದ್ದು... ಬಂಧ ಬಂಧನವಾಗಿ ಕೊಂಡಿ ಕಳಚಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಮಾತು ಕಿರಿಕಿರಿಯೆನಿಸಿದರೆ ಮೌನ ಅಸಹನೀಯ! ತಿಂಗಳುಗಳು ಕಳೆದರೂ ಅವನ ಕಂಡಾಗ ಅವಳ ನಿಟ್ಟುಸಿರ ದಟ್ಟತೆ ಕದಡಿ ಹೋದಂತಿಲ್ಲ: ಅವಳೆದುರು ಬಂದಾಗ ಅವನ ಹುಬ್ಬುಗಳು ಗಂಟಾಗದೆ ಉಳಿಯುವುದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ! ಸಪ್ತಪದಿ ತುಳಿದವರ ಹಾದಿ ಬೇರೆಯಾದಾಗ  ನಡುವೆ ಉಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು ಕಂದಕ ಮಾತ್ರ!! ಮೌನದೊಳಗೆ ಹೂತು ಹಾಕಿದ್ದ ಮಾತುಗಳು ಮಾತಾಗದೆ ವ್ಯಾಜ್ಯಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದವು  ಕಗ್ಗಂಟಿನ ಗಂಟುಗಳ ಸಡಿಲಿಸಲು ಕ್ಷಮೆಗಾಗಿ ಇಂದಿನ ಭೇಟಿ! ಆ ಹೊತ್ತಿಗೆ ಜೊತೆಯಾಗಿ ನಕ್ಕ ಕ್ಷಣಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹೃದಯದ ಮೆದು ಪದರವನ್ನು ಚುಚ್ಚಿಕೊಂಡವು... ಕಣ್ಣಲ್ಲಿ ನೀರಾಡಿತು, ಆದರೆ ಮಾತು ಶುರುವಾಗಲೇ ಇಲ್ಲ; ಖಾಲಿ ಕಪ್ಪಿನ ತಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದಷ್ಟು ಕಪ್ಪು ಕರಿ ಉಳಿದುಕೊಂಡಿತ್ತು!! -ಪಲ್ಲವಿ ಕಬ್ಬಿನಹಿತ್ಲು

ಬಿಳಿ ಬದುಕು...

(ಇಲ್ಲಿ "ಬಿಳಿ" ಯನ್ನು ಶೂನ್ಯ, ಬಣ್ಣ ರಹಿತ, ವ್ಯರ್ಥ ಎಂಬರ್ಥದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಪಯೋಗಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದೆ) *ಬಿಳಿ  ಬದುಕು...* ಓ, ನನ್ನ ಬಿಳಿ ಬದುಕಿನ ಬಿಳಿಯ ಹಣೆಯ ಬರಹವೇ, ಕತ್ತಲ ನೆರಳಿನ ಮರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಡಗುವುದೇಕೆ ನೀನು? ನಿನ್ನ ಕಂಡ ಕ್ಷಣ ಬದುಕು ಪರದೆಯಂತೆ ಕಣ್ಮುಂದೆ ಸುಳಿದು ನನ್ನ ಬಿಂಬವೇ ನಿನ್ನ ಬಿಳಿಯ ರಂಗೆಂದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇನೆ! ಅವಿತುಕೊಳ್ಳದಿರು ಎನ್ನುವ ಧೈರ್ಯವಿದ್ದರೆ,  ಬೇಯಿಸುತ್ತಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ ಅಂತರಂಗವನ್ನು ಅಸಹಾಯಕತೆಯ ತಾಪ... ಈ ಮರುಳಿನ ನೆರಳು ಬಿಳಿ; 'ಸುಳ್ಳು' ಅದರ ಅಸ್ತಿತ್ವ! ಗಡಿಯಾರದ ಮುಳ್ಳು ಸಹ ಕುಣಿಯುತ್ತಿರುವುದು, ನನ್ನ ಬದುಕಿನ ಮೂಕ ಹಾಡಿಗೇ!! ಸ್ತಬ್ಧ ಬದುಕಿನ ಮೌನದ ಸಾಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಇರುವಷ್ಟು ಹೊತ್ತು ಅರಸುತ್ತೇನೆ, ಮೌನವನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಶಬ್ದಗಳನ್ನಾಗಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ, ಆ ಶಬ್ದಗಳೊಳಗಡಗಿದ ಅರ್ಥವನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸುವ ಜೀವವೊಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಹಾತೊರೆಯುತ್ತೇನೆ... ಆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ ಬಂದು ಶಬ್ದಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿವರಣೆಯಾದಾಗ ಅವರೇ ನನ್ನ ಭವಿಷ್ಯದ ನಾವಿಕರಾಗಲೆಂದು ಹಂಬಲಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ, ನೆನಪುಗಳಿಗೆ ಬೇಡಿ ಹಾಕಲೆಂದು ಬಯಸುತ್ತೇನೆ... ಆದರೇನಾಯಿತು, ಬಿಳಿ ಬದುಕು ನೂಕ
